Pastels & Parasols in the South West – Levi & Emily

Emily and Levi met in Tom Price 10 years ago and after a 7 year engagement were married at the picturesque Laurance Wines in Margaret River on a beautiful Autumn day.

Levi proposed to Emily atop Mount Nameless in the Pilbara getting down on one knee to pop the question and topped it all off with a candlelight dinner for two.

Gran’s advice to a nervous Emily was to only have eyes for Levi as she walked down the aisle, advice she adhered to and managed to make it all the way to the altar.  As she locked eyes on her Husband to be, all the nerves seemed to disappear, a favourite memory that will stay with Emily forever.

Celebrating with family and friend’s made the day all that more special for this laid-back couple.  Emily and Levi personally involved themselves in their wedding plans and even handmade many of the itty bitty details including their cake stand, table centrepieces and photobooth.

The bride’s stunning dress was purchased from online store Grace Loves Lace and even after shopping with her bridesmaids she knew she had already “found the one” with french lace bodice and fully lined silk chiffon skirt flowing into a natural train.

Choosing tradition the Bride and Groom chose not to see each other before the wedding ceremony, Emily spent the evening with her 5 beautiful bridesmaids which included lots of belly laughs to help settle some nerves.

One piece of advice Emily has for any future bride…..plan the photos ahead of time, let your photographer know exactly what you want and make sure you take as much time as you want, it doesn’t matter if you are late for your reception. Oh, and make sure you have someone to round up family and friends for the pre-determined list of photos so that it runs smoothly.  Good advice Emily!

Laurance wines packed a hamper including refreshments which went a long way to relaxing the bridal party during the post ceremony photo session and the boys got into the swing of things pretty quickly.

The couple danced to Ellie Goulding’s “How long will I love you?” for their first dance and from the look here on Emily’s face, that love will last forever.

Thank you Emily and Levi for sharing your wedding day with us and may you have a loving happy life together, enjoy your slideshow below.
