On their Wedding day Neil & Sue had been together for exactly 3 years and said “I do” at their home, Peppercorn Cottage in York, Western Australia joined by family and friends.
Neil’s favourite moment was laying eyes on Sue as she arrived for the ceremony and Sue was pleasantly surprised how good Neil looked in his suit.
The Bride wore a beautiful pale pink, sleeveless gown from NV Boutique at Hillarys Boat Harbour. Accompanied by her Daughter and Sister tears flowed when Sue first tried on her dress and instantly knew it was the one.
Sticking with tradition Neil and Sue chose not to see each other before the ceremony, instead spending a quiet evening before the big day.
“From this day forward you shall not walk alone,
my heart will be your shelter and my arms will be your home.”
Leading up to the ceremony they both confessed to a few nerves about the weather but once Sue was heading down the aisle all the stress of planning their special day melted away.
After the ceremony the Bride and Groom enjoyed a banquet reception at Settler’s House in York complete with Gluten Free options and danced their bridal waltz to John Legend’s “All of me”. The photo booth was a hit with everyone!
A little piece of advice when it comes to planning your your special day, communicate with each other and make lists of what needs to be done and by when.
Congratulations Neil and Sue!
