Chris & Keeona {Swan Valley Wedding Photographer}

Sometimes LOVE is just meant to be.

Keeona & Chris first met and dated as teenagers but life took them in different directions and down different paths.  A few years ago, they found their way back to each other after a chance meeting in an airport. Chris proposed on bended knee on a secluded beach at Isle of Pines, New Caledonia and said “I do” at Chapel Farm in the Swan Valley recently.

Having her daughter and best friend by her side helped Keeona keep calm leading up to the ceremony.

Keeona’s beautiful tea length, strapless gown from The Gown Gallery in Midland was complemented by the soft pastels of her peaches and cream bouquet from Bloomy’s Florist in Midland.

Her son Jaxon was by her side too making sure Mum was delivered safely to Chris at the altar.  Keeona commented that this was one of her favourite moments of the day, when she laid eyes on her husband to be along with emotional family and friends.

If the bride could give one small piece of advice she would recommend being as organised as you can and not leaving anything to the last minute.  The little details like gifts for the guests, seating plan, table decorations were all hand made for the reception, except for the delicious melting moments which came from the Toodyay Bakery.  Keeona drew much her inspiration from Polkadot Bride, kept control of the budget, vendors etc with Hitched and Zazzle took care of her wedding invitations.  Keeona even made up activity bags for the younger guests, which included nieces and nephews to keep them occupied during the speeches.

After losing some sleep around 3am as a storm rolled in, Keeona and Chris’ wedding day cleared just in time for the ceremony, photos and reception.

Incorporating both Chris’ and her tastes into the day was important to the Bride, even if they were a little out of the ordinary, making them work was half the fun.

With the Wedding party photos at Bells Rapids just as the sun set, it was a perfect time for everyone to relax and enjoy some canapes and drinks (and a few laughs).  Going with the flow was the order of the day and I think this fun bridal party achieved just that.

Mr and Mrs Allert, congratulations on once again finding love with each other and entrusting your special day to me.  It was a joy! Enjoy your slideshow below.
