My Workshop Getting to know & Love your DSLR is a workshop that teaches you how to take better pictures. It focuses on concepts you can easily put into practice, just by understanding lighting, composition, perspective .  Participants will walk away with a 50 page Workbook that includes both in depth details and quick tips for common situations which will help you improve your photos immediately… just by taking the time to assess light, change up their angle, and remember a few quick tips.My workshops are very hands on and as we move through the workbook we go outside and practise so you get a hands on understanding of each section

High level review of exposure

Auto and semi-manual settings

I had the pleasure of having Ryan & Gemma back to work with this week in studio, and with them came the very VERY cute Zac at just 10 days old .

It had been raining all day so we worked in the studio the rain stopped and we ventured outside with Zac into the crop.

Thanks for coming to York guys it was great seeing you both again. The last time i had seen Gemma was to deliver their  wedding album.

Claire & Ryan were married in the Swan Valley at Mulberry on Swan on a cold winters day .What an amazing day it was the sun came out right on cue and we couldn’t have asked for better. Michele from livingdolls did the hair and makeup for Claire , Michele even kindly helped me with my hair Thanks Michele for everything you were great. Claire & Ryan chose Perth for their wedding they live in Qld at the present but have spent time all over the world. Alan was there chosen celebrant and as always it was a great ceremony . I’ll be in touch soon Guys with your online Gallery and Proof book .

Tim & Emma were out visiting from England along with 2 very very cute little  twin boys .Tim’s  Father lives here on a farm in York and i thought doing a portrait on the farm in York was fitting. In saying that we couldn’t catch Granddad to join us for the shoot i think he was camera shy.Hope you all had a good trip home and i look forward to seeing you all again on your next trip to Australia Read the rest of this entry »
